I guess the first thing you should know is that China owns all pandas on earth. The pandas you see in zoos of other countries are all lent from China and only for a certain period of time. The cost of having pandas in those countries is stunning. The Chinese government charges 100 million RMB per year, let alone the high spending of keeping a panda. You have to build bamboo forest and hire panda experts so that the pandas can survive. It is said that Malaysia wants to give back pandas in their country to China because the poor country can’t afford keeping these adorable but demanding animals.
